WHAT THEY'RE SAYING
Groob's years of nasty, dishonest attacks
"In fairness? It's probably a good read because Kathy is good at making up stories. Despite, of course, having no real leg to stand on when it comes to winning.
Our favorite part is 'dealing with negative smears' -- something she knows a lot about. Because she's been behind the most nasty, dishonest attacks in Kentucky over the past few years." -- Page One Kentucky, a major progressive blog
A record of failures for its author
"Let's hope that the lessons they learned teach them to play nice instead of trying to destroy other people. Success much more often follows from a charitable heart than a vengeful one, as their record of failures will attest." -- Bluegrass Bulletin, a major conservative blog
Lost her two major races for office
"Groob has lost two attempts to win a State Senate seat. The last one -- in 2008 -- was seen as a probable win, with Democrats pouring money galore into the campaign. But, guess what? Groob lost. She has lost a slew of campaigns as a political operative."
-- HinesSight, a national blog
Rubbish! The book is self-published
"The book is rubbish and is self-financed by the author. After a string of losses in the political field, Groob knows nothing about winning elections."
-- USNation, national political site
Kathy Groob has lost all dignity
"Loser: Kathy Groob lost all dignity by mailing out anti-choice lit AND lost by 2%. Nice twofer.
-- Barefoot and Progressive, statewide blog
Sleaze politics at its worse
"The only item of note about the author, and it's a dubious one, is a sleaze website against a neighbor. So malicious it has been removed from American webhosting companies. Groob now has it webhosted in the United Arab Emirates."
-- Hometown Facebook page
Husband runs career, she's clueless
"Politicos in Northern Kentucky say it is Groob's husband who guides her political career. Kathy Groob is a walking, talking public relations disaster ... maybe it's time to get a new manager. "
-- CovingtonUSA, local site

This is the kind of book that I absolutely love talking about.
A little-known political gadfly has authored a self-financed book on what women need to do in order to win elections, called "Pink Politics." Here's some advice: Pay no attention to this political loser, she can't win elections.
First off, Kathy Groob has lost two attempts to win a State Senate seat. The last one -- in 2008 -- was seen as a probable win, with Democrats pouring money galore into the campaign. But, guess what? Groob lost. [Link ]
In 2010, she worked on the elections of three female candidates for state office. They lost, too. That same year, Groob was Northern Kentucky co-ordinator the Jack Conway campaign for US Senate. He lost, big time.
In 2008, Groob supported Hillary Clinton for president but ditched the potential first female President early, just when Clinton needed support from women the most. [Link ]
Now, the political gadfly is doing a little-known website called Elect Women, ranked about 6,178,000th among sites in America, and despite its claim of advocacy for women in office, has yet to endorse the only female running for president in 2012. [Parody ]
Groob's claim to being a successful businesswomen remains suspicious. She did have a staff for a brief period as an employee of a construction company, but mostly wrote press releases. Another company, the one where she claims to be so successful, is actually run by her husband.
Need I say more? As has happened time and time again, an attention-starved, pandering political gadfly trying to become famous with a self-published book.
She's going to end up losing a lot of money, too.
